rusty oem rim...

Default rusty oem rim...

for some reason, my back right rim seems to be getting rusty, unlike the other 3. has anyone ever had this problem? im thinkin of getting my calipers painted but that one rim is killin me...

it didnt wash away with soap and water like the dirt off of the other rims. how do i clean it?

btw not sure if its rust but you get the idea

have you tried using a rim/mag cleaner before you washed them? buy a rim spray cleaner that you use when you wash your car...once u are done doing that, i would recommend using mothers mag polisher...it comes in a small tub and its a paste....it takes a lot of pressure to clean it off...but i think it should help...dont really think its rust...im thinking its more like brake dust that settled in there really good...take pics and post se we can see

Sounds like brake dust maybe. I'd buy some wheel cleaner and try that.

Like this stuff:



Basically wet your wheel. Spray this one. Wait a few min. Rinse off.

if that doesn't work, just get some sand paper and sand it off.. prolly like a 1000-1500 grit paper..
