SoFloTC Wheel Venture - Torques 18x9.5 Update pg 3!
rolling rear fenders and going a tad lower, possibly messing with camber. in the front i dont have camber bolts and we pretty much have it cambered as much as stock will allow. so i think ima leave it that way.
Just be careful with that much stretch, Had a friend of mine stretch some BFGs on his 240sx, 235 on a 10inch wheel........bead of tire broke and trashed the rim and almost trashed his car, would hate for anything to happen to you. Stretching tires is pretty dangerous.

LOL a 235 on 10 is weak sauce. Sounds like your friend didn't have enough tire pressure, you need to at least run 40psi I ran 45 because I had a 215/35/18 debead on an old set of 18x9.5 toruqes I had. I also ran 215/40's on a 10 daily for around 6 months daily thrashed those tires. I ran up in Mullholland Dr. and GMR canyon runs with them FINE. I also met a dude at a local meet running a 195/45/17 on a 17x10.5 inch rim...the stretch was utter madness. You do know tons of local drifters run stretch tires on their car? Only problems they have is running out of tread...
Sorry I just have a thing against people coming in without any experience, and say something is bad. It's like taking advice from a virgin who has never had sex...

Haha socal.
Drifters run stretch to get less sidewall flex. 235 bfg's on a x10 is hilarious. BFG's run terribly wide anyways, I wouldnt even say that would be much of a stretch.

It's dangerous, it looks stupid, and you lose traction........ I never got the whole stretched tire thing I guess, Buy tires that fit your wheels, and make it work...... Roll your fenders or do some Actual work to your car. if you can't run a 10" wide wheel with a tire made for a 10" wide wheel.........don't do it, it looks stupid

This thread'll be locked soon lol. Yes you non fitment guys can go discuss how you hate stretched tires in your little performance circle jerks. Us guys who like to stretch rubbers will do the same. Each has its huge following. No need to be brotards

btw this is not safe at high speeds with stretched rear... i was at 120mph with boosted s2k on 95 and with one movement of steering wheel i swear it wanted to swing out.
waiting to see what im doing with front, gotta put bumper on, on monday with rs1 lip.
and BTW your car DOES look good, just lookin out man
someone told me it was because wider rim AND also i havent gotten alignment yet but it doesnt really pull either way. Highways arent exactly FLAT here so that could have to do with it. on street roads it seems nice at highspeeds.
