Staggered setup WHY?!
#25
Still, that is the look. And these serve the same purpose here. They cant be rotated, yada yada yada.... But still, they are the same wheel size, yes. To me, that just looks good flat out, hands down. I love that look. Fills in the rear gap great.

i'm going with a staggered setup here once it gets warm because not only do i love the look but i really do need 255's in the back to hold all my power
/end sarcasm
but no its a great look and if you don't like it who cares its not your car.

you can have a staggered setup with the same size (width) wheels. the offset needs to be lower on the rear. that way youre using the same size (width) tires front and rear, but you couldnt rotate the wheels.
some wheel manufacturers make the wheel face flatter (which makes the lip look bigger) on the rear wheels so it looks like a staggered offset, but in fact the wheels are the same size and offset. sometimes you cant rotate these wheels since the front brake caliper would not clear the flattened rear wheel face.
its about looks and aesthetics, which is completely subjective. i dont think it looks good when the rear wheels are sunk in more than the front. since the tC has wider fenders in the back, the rear wheels will always look more sunk in on a traditional set. watercooled VW guys have been making staggered setups look damn good for years. question the logic of staggered setups on a vw forum and you'll be thoroughy flamed.
