Default stockie rim with a red rim help plllzzz

so i've searched quite a bit with this and i have found how to paint stock rims and such. I actually have done the process already no problem but the thing is i can't come to think how to do the red lip!!! so i was thinking spray the lip red first and tape it off and then spray the black on after???

How would you guys come about doing this or if anyone has done it before can you please tell me whats the best way you guys did this.

Again the look im trying to get is like the time attack rims which you guys probably have seen on here. Black with the red lip. Thanks guys. any help is greattt

Sharpies FTW!
Jk I saw an article on import tuner over the new fast n furious. Turns out the subaru was a complete fake everything on it was just for looks. The part that was most intresting they added a colored lip with colored electrical tape it was very neat. U can always try that if u don't like it just peel it off.

i would do black first - tape off the lip so you can paint the red on the stock surface. But have seen people use hobby type colored tape, seems to work pretty good and easy to replace/redo when it get's old/messed up

pin striping? But don't you think if you use pinstriping it will make it look tacky like a sticker on a rim?
