should i just hit em with 320 grit or strip them with something..any ideas..

thx, i heard some bad things on another forum about wurth paint..im starting to think about gunmetal..maby a funky color if i slamm it down more..

 

sand, prime, paint, clear and you'll be good. those dont look too hard to sand anyways.

 

yup.. average 5 star wheel..I thought i might have to go a different route to paint em due to them peeling ..lol

where do i find neon orange paint for my stock wheels?

 

how many cans of paint does it take?
and what kind of green paint do you use?

 

i know summits got a decent variety, i couldnt find the right teal so i used engine enamal and it worked fine and i cleared coated with dupli wheel
and i would say 2 cans of color and 1 can clear, ive done mine three times now and its more than enough

hey guys.... i just painted my stock rims gloss black but i want to change it to gold cause it looks good on a flint mica. Should i sand it back down to the orginal rim or sohuld i jus scuff it upp and take off the clear coat?

 

i would try and take it most off, i just did this and alot of my bronze is chipping along with the color under

 

my balck isnt chipping at alll i just want anew color

 

 

anybody think a gunmetal with a lime green lip would look good on csm?
