I don't understand why people don't paint the center caps also? It would look 139727x better if they were done.

 

indeed. it just takes alittle tape and a blade. simple.

 

I just painted my entire center cap black. Looks 10x better than silver.

Just word of caution to people using Montana spray paint. It is graffiti paint, but the hardcore brand is HIGH pressure make sure to back up alittle bit more.. the runs are never pretty

Whats the best way to tape off the lip when you paint the rims?

Maybe getting a set that has a nice lip and i want to paint the rims, but dont know whats the best way to tape them off, just blue tape and make sure all the lines/edges are evenly tapped off?!

^^yup they also have this green tape in a container now that supposedly is better than the painters tape.

honestly im just gonna save for some quality highend joints, even though I do love your drag dr31's and there soo cheap, but NYC would kill them, and by then ill have enough for coilovers too to kill 2 bird with one stone

what company makes that paint? i don't want that color, but i wanna see if they have any other cool colors...duplicolor isn't gonna cut it for what i wanna do.

 

instead of using tape look at my post w the orange wheels...try using index cards unless you want to tape off some spokes...its so much easier and less time consuming lol
