tC Painted Stock Rims
i had a regular silver picked out, only problem was my wheels havent been OEM color in forever, i dont even remember what it looks like in person so i had nothing to compare to
i actually really like that man....i was mad close to to doin that when i did mine black but wasnt sure how it would look but i dig it. i got same color, tinted tails and tints too...hmm new ideas...
Whats up guys, Im about to paint my stock wheels and want to go for a dark gunmetal finish. I have a FM tC, and I want something darker than the car, but not black. Do I just use black primer before the graphite? Any recommendations about number of coats of each one?
Thanks,

^ No need to quote those pics they're literally two posts up lol
Anyways that does look incredibly good. I'm not a fan of that color at all but the last picture really shows it well. Purplish front and cherry rear (nohomo)

alrighty here we go again...i didnt want to ride around on the silver anymore and i just did it till i get my new rims in...so here it is. i was looking for a bronze color but never found it after i went to a couple of places....so of course gold it is lol(soooooo different from everyone else right
) it was either that or an aged copper look...but it didnt look to appealing....the gold i thought would actually be darker but durr stupid me used a silver as a base coat....if i used black def would have been darker....but here ya goo)
just sanded them down a little bit...and then i sprayed them with a silver caliper paint as a base coat

andd while that dried for about 10 minutes? lol

now this is a light coat of "pure gold" still can see a little silver underneith

painted center caps flat black(of course not keeping them the same silver color...i dont know why someone doesnt take the extra 5 minutes to paint them a color)

andd this is the final coat(after about 3 or 4) before the clear coat that i put on them

and now on my car!
