They get dirty pretty fast. But I wash my car once a week anyway, the brake dust is more noticeable w white wheels

Hey I have a silver 05 TC and I am thinking about getting the stocks on it painted. I am thinking I want the front of it blue but then on the inside black, or the same but with yellow instead of blue. Do you guys know any place that could paint this on my rims or could any body shop do it?

just do it yourself, its not hard and as long as you do it well and prep right, it was last for awhile

What he said is the most valuable information you need to keep in mind before starting the job. Don't rush the job. If you do, you'll get crap results. In all honesty, I'm going to say that painting the rim in two different colors will be tougher than just choosing one color or doing one color and another color for the lip (if desired). Sand down your stockies, prime them, let them dry, then do what you want. Recommend doing it in a somewhat.. warm environment.. better yet if you live in a snowy region to just wait until the summer.

Just know that once you start on one rim, you need to finish them all

Sorry for these noob questions, but im trying to convince my dad to let me do these:

1. Do they chip often if you do it right? when I say "right" I mean clean>sand>clean>prime>paint

2. How often do you guys have to repaint it due to chipping?

3. Would you have to use high heat paint, or does regular rim paint work the same?

Sorry there questions have probably been answered before but I didn't want to read through 132 pages haha!

Thanks in advance guys!

What're the thoughts on a Flint Mica tC with matching Flint Mica rattle canned stockies?

Paintscratch.com
12.5oz Basecoat $24.95
12.5oz Clearcoat $12.25

Sounds expensive but if it looks as amazing as Gigz color matches Sizzling Crimson Mica rims it'd be worth it.

How many cans would I need? 4?

im going with blue next to match my corbeau's. had charcoal/gun metal, got old quick. black is common, grey is common, bronze is common & gold is common. why would i wanna be like everyone else with common colors? not to mention these are stockies, i can give 2 ____s about them

and its a scion, i make fun of these POS cars. wtf do i care if the next dude does the same. do people talking about ur car get u all bent outta shape? are you working on your car for for yourself or for the acceptance of others?
