tC Painted Stock Rims
so let me get this straight.... i wash them, let it dry... sand them, then put clear coat and let it dry and repeat that a couple of times... after doing the clear coat, i wet sand the rims again then apply the paint im painting the rims with sevreral times them i can use a touch up glossy paint??? is that how is it?
What skatenc123 and superwhitecoke said. For mine I did wash, sand, wash, dry time, paint, wet sand, paint, wet sand, paint, etc..., then clear coat, wet sand, clear coat, wet sand, etc...
The wet sanding really helps to get out any imperfections and helps with the application of the next coat, which is really important if you want it to turn out really nice and professional looking.
