cool job on the lugs... i've been holdin' off on painting mine since I thought they would just chip off when I put them back on the wheels... I actually thought of powdercoating them hoping that it might be more durable... did you have to scuff them up really well to get the paint to stick?

thanks. actually i didnt even scuff them up. i put a lil dish detergent in the sink, soaked them for about 10 minutes in some hot water to loosen up the grease on em. dried em off, wiped over them with some rubbing alcohol and sprayed em. holding up well so far.

if you take your wheels off often i would def. recommend NOT painting your lugs.
its will chip like crazy.
powdercoating them may chip too.
you need to get them anodized.

hers wont get taken off often at all. so im not concerned with it, if they do ill pop em off, scuff em up, paint em again.

i got another untouched set if all else fails
