tC Painted Stock Rims
yeah, i'm only like 40 min. away from mechanicsburg...and ship is waaaaaay more country than that...seriously, theres like 10 stoplights in the whole town...so talk about culture shock when i got to nyc lol. seriously though, i would help you out if you wanted. anytime you're around...
lmfao wow i thought mechanicsburg was bad every1 sooo laid bak and so slow lol i went to a bob evans? and ive never seen a place like that IN MY LIFE lol it was fun to get away from the city but i missed it too much lol. yeah definatly im coming bak up to PA sumtime in the next couple of months i might jus hold u on that offer=)
don't forget, it took us three days to paint our rims like that...
if you're just talkin' about painting the whole rim one color, then that could be done in a day, but it'd probably take the whole day to do it right...
don't mean to rain on your parade... just keepin' it realistic

I was wondering, I have a powder coating business that does mainly the bottom of boats. The first question i have is how much you guys would pay to have your stock rims powder coated or any rim for that matter does not matter what color. Second question is would it be worth buying some stock tc rims and then putting them back up here for sale. If so how much would they sell for?

First, if you could keep it at around $50 per rim for one color, you'd get a lot of takers (considering that chrome plating usually runs around $100 per rim).
Custom (two or more color) jobs around $100 per rim would be attractive.
But one problem that arises would be the cost of shipping. It would cost a lot to ship four rims to get a job done, so it might only attract mostly local business.
Second, you should be able to get some stockies around $200 with a little curb rash. If you clean them up, fix the rash, and powdercoat them, you'll have some nice rims to sell. How much you sell them for will depend on how much your cost to powdercoat them will be. $500 for a set of professionally powdercoated rims would be a good deal.
Those are my two cents... from a buyer's point of view. Your time and cost of supplies would definitely play a big part on how these numbers work for you... but it's a starting point. Hope this helps...
