hm....I just read on a different forum that people are getting the paint cracked around the nuts after getting their car realignment and when they change their tires....sounds like a lot of maintained to do this in the long run...

 

thats prob cuz theyre taking it to the dealer and the techs could care less.

mine came off when they changed a tire, but when my buddy did them, he did not scuff them up first...and there was some tireshine residue or something still on them so once it chipped, it pealed right off.

If you sand them first, the paint should stick just fine and not come off...

Got bored and decided to paint the stockies and rock those for now. I didn't drive more than 100 miles on them before I got aftermarket wheels, I like them!:

Yo i want to paint my stocks bright orange, but i dont know what paint i should use tho?

 

thats the problem im facing now as well what shade to paint it....i dont wanna go too dark but not too bright....

 

dam, because i want to bright, like almost florescent orange but i dont know if to use the dupli color paint as well?

 

i was think about the same color but im still debating.....

 

itd be pretty ballin if somone painted the two spokes (3 pairs of the six) complimentary colors and during rolling shots they look like they blend together to make a new color

 

thats something to think about....

u haven't seen it because the spokes are not designed that way, it wont work, the bottom pair of the 3 double spokes will be crooked and what do u do with the other spokes just black them out? try it out on photoshop, it won't work. Good thought though. It's good to be thinking differently.
