i bet he used dupli color clear...that's the best stuff out

 

just noticed one of my wheels is a shade darker than the rest

I guess ill have to redo that one friday. Apparently i got a can of paint with the wrong cap on it?

 

what was your process to remove the curb rash?

 

I use dupicolor clear too. And I use a really rough sanding disk hooked up to an air compressor to get rid the curb rash, then I sand it smooth.

they are bald as funk! not to mention they were sanded and the inside color of the rim was still teal in this pic lol i am picking up a set on friday, they are so pricy for the yokos

 

Plasti-Dip coated wheels

no prep, no sanding, just cleaned the wheels off and sprayed a very thick layer of it, dried over night and looks bad ___, no clear, no primer, no sanding no sweat. yea baby!

way more durable then paint, i stepped on them kicked them rubbed my heels on the wheels and not even a rip in the finish.
