45mm because according to the tC faq site, our stock rims are 45mm.

+35 is more outward than +45. if you want to be safe, go +45.
i measured and will be doing 8.5 with 245, front +40, rear +35 but rolling fender.

everyone says 35mm but all tire sites recomend the 45mm offset. I DONT want to roll any fenders. I am loosing 13mm on both sides of the wheel from stock thats a half inch on each side. With 35mm i am 3/4" farther toward the fender lip. Explain how 35mm is less prone to rubbing

if you are worried about rubbing against suspension, do less offset, if you are worried about rubbing against fender do more offset. i wouldn't worry about rubbing against suspension until you go over 9 inches wide rims or use extremely high offset.
again, if you want to be safe and no fender rolling, +45 will fit, i am willing to put money on it.
