tire pressure monitor problem!!
My tire pressure monitor keeps lighting up when my tire's are on the correct psi levels with 32 in the front and 29 at the back. I have TEIN basics coilovers that are almost slammed with continental contiextreme contact tires. Is there any reason why it keeps lighting up? It also lights up when i had my winter tire/wheel set on. The winter tire/wheel set were ASA sport wheels and dunlop m3 winter sport tires. Is this covered under warranty? I have 40K miles already. Is the new suspension causing this?
what model year do you have? if you have an '07 with aftermarket wheels and you never transferred your valve stem tpms sensors to the new wheels, there's your reason. if you have stock wheels or a year prior to '07, try pressing the tpms reset light on the inside of the glovebox. if that's a no-go, take it to the dealership.
yeah i reset the tpm before but it still goes on. I'm using the same valve stems as before wehn i changed the tires but even with the new winter wheels i have on with other valve stems it still goes on. I have 40k miles are they going to be iffy about my warranty?
