has anyone here done it? take out the OEM sensor from ur 07-08 wheel and transfer it to the rims that you bought?

I personally haven't done it, but any tire shop will do it, I'm sure its not that expensive, when you go to get your wheels put in, tell them to do it

 

dosmounting and mounting the tires and transfering the TPMS should cost you around $100

i got quoted last time for $40 a wheel
but i think it depends on the auto shop

 

Just be sure the whees you are buying are set-up for TPMS. Not all wheels will accept the TPMS sensors!

 

i went to sears auto center and they took my tires off my old rims, put them on my new ones, balanced them, etc. i just told them to change the tpms valve stems over and they did.


it cost me 25 dollars a rim to get this done because they were 18's.

i also got an alignment right after i lowered my car and they will recheck your alignment and fix it for free if it needs it in a 6000mile/6month time period. so i had them check that out because i figured i might as well because the springs have probably settled some more. all in all, everything turned out great. they didnt scratch my new rims but they did tell me that my tires were installed backwards. thanks a lot toyota of greer. lmao

yea, stay way from those, if you want to get carbon fiber rims, get them, but please make sure there real

 

i know theyre fake. i found that long time ago just couldn't find any real ones.

 

Even if you find them, you aint going to buy them, carbon fiber wheels are expensive, you'll be looking at a couple of thousand
