Default Tire Pressure Sensor

Hi All, got a question for everybody,

few month ago I got some new tires for my 07 tC and took it to this shop to change them for me, so, they ended up breaking one of the sensors. I bought a new sensor and they installed it for me but the Sensor light will stay on even after calibrating it.

So, i took my car to toyota dealership and they are asking $200+ just to program that damn number on the sensor in the computer.

is there any other place that can do the same thing for cheaper, i mean two hundred plus bucks for just programming it in, god damn, they are ripping you off with that.

any help is greatly appreciated. I get annoyed when any light comes on in my dashboard and i have to fix it or it will bother me.

thanks

If you feel like travelling north a bit, Motorworld Scion in Wilkes Barre, PA reprogrammed my car to work with new sensors for $40. I did have the serial numbers written down prior to going in, so they didnt have to dismount any of the tires however.

dude, WTH?

the shop that damaged the tire sensor would owe you for the new sensor, installation, and reprogram the sensor to work properly. why on earth would you spend a dime to fix their mistake?
