Default Tire problems

So I purchased 4 new Toyo Proxes 4 (because they were so highly recommended by so many people here) through edgeracing.com (also highly recommended) a little over a year ago for my tc and had them installed at the car service shop attached to my local BJ's.

After having my car go through its regular service checkups at the local scion dealer (including the 40,000 mile checkup or whatever big one comes up somewhere around there) and having several realignments, I noticed several weeks ago that my front right tire is almost completely bald!!! I don't know how I hadn't noticed it sooner, I guess its just because I never really get in the passenger side all that often. I didn't get any kind of warranty from edgeracing.com not that it would matter if I did seeing as how they sadly are no longer a company.

The other three tires still have relatively good tread left on them, so what I'm thinking about doing is just buying two new tires from treadepot.com.

Do ya think theres any chance that it could have been the scion dealers fault for doing a crappy realignment or do ya think I maybe just got a bad tire or what?

wow i know i went through a bunch of "bad ones" with the proxes4. They began making them in USA and the problems seem to have gone away. But.. They didn't wear down quickly, they were just having vibration problems.

Sounds like a crappy alignment. Have you had the alignment checked at someone other than the dealer (of course, reputable)??

yeah sounds like a bad alignment to me also..get another alignment(make sure to get the before and after printed out) and take it back to the scion dealer. You didn't by chance happen to get a print out of your alignment from the dealer did you?

unfortunately no, the car has been to the dealer twice since the tires were put on and the supposedly did an alignment both times, but I never bothered to get a print out (or if they gave it to me I never bothered to hold on to it).

I guess I'll just be buying 2 new tires then
