i have the enkei 18 inch that come with the rs 1.0 and i would recomend 225/40/17, even though mine are 225/40/18 the tires you would need if you want alot of grip get the kdw2 it looks like a snake skin i have those i had yokohoma avs db 100 and those would spin without alot of gas these i have to actually put some gas pedal on it

if you change the tire size, even just a bit, then wont your speedometer reading be incorrect?

not if you only change the width, if you change the height you will affect speedo reading

I have kumba ecsta 711's, they were $52 each on tirerack.. They hook up pretty good in the wet & dry weather and they have a great tread wear.

Definately not the best tire, but it was the cheapest price wise.

Increasing the width and keeping the same aspect ratio (such as when both are 45 series) results in additional height. Going from 215/45 to 225/45 won't make too much difference, but the latter is definitely taller.

Couldn't tell from your post exactly what you were implying, so I just wanted to provide some clarification, in case anyone got confused by your statement.

so the bottom line is that 225/45s fit well on the stock rims?
