Tire recommendations
Hey everybody. I am looking for new tires for my tC. Easy right? not exactly. 225/40ZR18. Wondering what people are running and what they think of them? I need something that is great in the dry and decent in the wet since we get a fair amount of rain.
I've looked at Nitto NT555, Falken Rt-615, Bridgestone RE960 pole position, Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S, I have tires for dedicated track use I basically need something for the daily grind that wears decent but still handles well. Thanks!

i like the continental extreme contacts.... good price and very good performance. check out tirerack for reviews.
I have heard some good things about those Bridgestone Pole Position tires; never owned a set; but the reviews look positive

i had pzero nero m+s. they only lasted a year (20,000 miles) but were a tremendous step up from the stock bridgestones. but now i have a set of kumho ecsta asx and those are much different.
but i support toyo proxes 4, lots of tire experts recommend them so i haven't used them yet, but they must be pretty good.

I think I'm gonna go with the NT-555's my friend has run them in the same size and he likes them. Plus they are on sale with free shipping from discount tire. I'll report back with results. Thanks for all the input.

You should look into the Kumho Ecsta MX. They're in the "Extreme Performance" category on Tirerack.com. Very well priced, and have great reviews. I plan on getting these when I buy new tires.
