Default What color to paint stock rims?

I'm planning on painting my stock rims this summer as one of my other rims bent (Motegi's w/ Low pro tires) and I don't want to keep repairing them.

Just wanted some opinions on what color would go best with my Flint Mica tC? And also, is it a tedious job? Like how many hours of labor is it.

powdercoat is the way to go. Take my word for it. I did the paint and that is a pain in the ___ and never will last as long as powder. Mine are now powder and love the finish.. I went black rims but I have a white tc. black would probably look good on a fm.. really depends on what you like.

Labor on paint depends on how bad your rims are.. They have to be clean and preferably sand blasted. Also you have to clear coat them.. the paint won't clean up well with no clear.

And can you powder coat them yourself or did you have to go to a shop and get it done there? Don't really want to spend too much money on this and I think getting them painted somewhere would set me back over $200.

HmmI like the graphite/gunmetal idea..and also the bronze one.

BTW, how much would it cost to powder coat a wheel?

where are you from?

I charge $60 a wheel, that includes stripped the old paint, sandblasting, and 1 coat of powder

Check my thread for some of my work

Here is a set of EVO rims I did yesterday, coated in mirror black
