I assume if it's 7.0, i'd have to get brand new tires to accomodate 7.5 wide wheels?

Factory tC wheel should be 17" diameter, 7" width with a 45 offset.
Factory tC tire is a 215mm width, which is 8.45"
You can run the factory 215/45R17 on a 7½" width wheel no problem. In fact, in the Pirelli app guide you can run their PZero Nero 215/45R17 tires in rims from 7" wide up to 8½" wide, but it'll be pretty stretched on a 8½....

FYI, the factory tC wheel is 17 inches in diameter and 7 inches wide, the tC's O.E. tire size is 215/45ZR17 which will fit a wheel width of 7.00 to 8.00 inches. Our recommended optional 17 inch fitment for the tC is 225/45-17 which will fit a 7.00 to 8.50 wide wheel. For more information on the tires we offer for your vehicle, please visit our site at:
