Lookin at new wheels being my next project.. Not sure what people recommend with a NBM tc, lowered with tein s-techs. My car right now is "dark", tinted tails, black grille, black windows, nbm color, black bluebat eyelids.. So i am thinking of going chrome, or going black with a chrom lip.. I like the tsw snettertons or tenzo type-ms, however what else do people recommend?

Another thing i was looking at is the size. would i be able to fit an 18x9.5 on a tc with tein s-techs? 40 offset?

 

no you will not be able to fit 9.5 et+40 up front without some serious modification of your suspension.

rear would be fine but would still require plenty of fender modification.

 

That's the most critical aspect imo these days, you gotta have a lip, the wider the better. Beyond that, whatever style you like, there's so many great looking designs. Unfortunately so many of them are complex enough that they're hard to clean (like the stock wheels), which is one reason I prefer a classic, simple 5-spoke design.

 

Do you think these would look good on a nbm tc?



i can have a 1.25 inch lip with those in 17.. i really want 18s but what tires do i need in order to not rub?

Well i found the wheels i love.. ____ i think they are gorgeous.




However i have one problem.. they only come in 19x8 5x114.3 or 112. Would those fit on my car?

I have tein s-techs... Let me know if its possible. if it works then i will spend the money in a hearbeat.

If there is no way to fitting those to my car unless i get a new suspension setup then my next choice is these:

Besides the bolt pattern issue, neither of those have a lip, so I think the TSWs looked better, but hey, it's your car, get what you like.

Just remember that rims and tires are a pretty expensive purchase and you better make sure you really like the wheels you are buying. You said you want a lip but then put up pictures of wheels without one. Go to different sites like rims-n-tires.com or superbuytires.com and put in the vehicle you are looking to get wheels for and voila! It will give you all of the rims that fit your vehicle that they carry.
