OK, so i did a poll on what to spend my money on and it came up wheels was the answer. Now I am looking for input on types of wheels.

I am blacking out my tC, heavy tint, blacked out scion and shaved tC emblems, black grillcraft grill, smoked tails. Only thing not blacked out will be the CF hood i am saving for.

I like clean looking 5 or 6 spoke wheels. Rota Slipstream, Rota Boost, Rota Grid, Konig Hurry - These are some examples of the style I like. Dont know if black, gunmetal, or something else would be best. Not really into chrome but maybe a chrome lip?

What do you all think? I have tires already so i have to keep it in the 17x7 or 17x8 range. i also am looking at $650(shipped) or less; however, a little over would not kill me.

Pictures of wheels on a dark colored tC would help if you all have any. Thanks!

 

if its totally blacked out, i would say go with the biggest chrome wheels 20s 19s.. with fat lip

 

Have to keep it either 17x7 or 17x8

 

i would do something like gunmetal or hyper black. orrr gold. the contrast might look good

 

gold or bronze is the best imo. black would just be overkill. its nice to have colors that contrast and compliment each other. silver would be okay, but ehhh silver is a little too common for me. gunmetal woudlnt be bad either.

I like the idea of black with a red lip, but contrast is a bit better. Gold, bronze, hyper black and gunmetal would be my choices. Too many black with polished lips out there. No offense to anyone, please. Just my 2 cents.

 

imo black rims are a waste simply because it's quite difficult to see the rims when you don't have perfect lighting.

At the same time they can look quite nice...

 

i would just do a flat black rim, i think that would look sexy
