Quick question for any of you lucky individuals who already have TSW Thruxton shoes on your ryyyde. Anyone with 19" thruxtons feel a performance loss for having the larger wheel? I think I'm gonna go for that wheel but I don't want to lose any performance in going for the 19" instead of the 18". I plan a 1.5 drop all around...anyone provide me a little insight? Thanks!

It's not necessarily larger that makes a huge performance difference (though it can)... it's the weight.

 

Yeah, I figured as much...but looking for a first hand experience, see if anyone can tell me one way or the other....thx for the info though.

 

Let us know how it goes if you buy, definately post pics. Those are the exact wheels I want too, the lip is crazy. The loss of performance shouldn't be enough to feel in everyday a to b driving. If you race or autocross, you have no busines buying 19s anyway.

 

I highly doubt you can physically feel any difference in any performance with wheel weight.
