New wheels! TSW Thruxton. check em out.
this is TSW Thruxton in 18 x 8 +40 all around. the front wheels sits pretty flush with the fender and the back can use a spacer 5mm or maybe 10mm, but it really doesnt bother me. the wheels are hyerblack and wrapped is Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS pole postion. 225/40/18. the thruxton does come with a 3" lip but you cant really tell due to the style of the wheels. i could of gone with the 19" but i rather have the slightly better ride and the savings (almost $1000 by staying with the 18s)
i got the set from America's tire co. and as far as the TPMS goes they just moved evrerything from the OEM wheels to these and it works prefectly.
the ride is a bit more harsh (its expected) but still comfortable, but it looks damn good imo and performs much better than stock. the cars "feels" bit more communicative and stable and the car looks a lot more solid with the 8" tires instaed of the 6" (i think) skinny bastards. i do need to drop the sucka though. maybe the teins once they come out?
anyhow enjoy:
