I think ive finally decided to get these rims. Wont have them for maybe another month and a half though. Gonna build my own gaming computer from scratch in a week and pay that off. We'll see how much my tax return is this year too. Im going to go with 18" bronze. I think its going to look sick. Just gotta decide what tires to get. thinkin about Falkens.

with the tc sizes and 5x100. chances are you arent gonan get those above. the ones above will have to be a certain width and offset to look like that. the spokes being concave instead of straight.

wont the specs that i posted above five a look kinda like that? with the lower offsets there should be some sort of concave? or at least i was told that.

I dont really care about the concave, im just looking forward to quality lightweight wheels that perform better than stock.

you'd need something like 18x9 et25 to get that concave look.
that Silvia pictured has a widebody kit.

Wouldn't those stick out farther? 18x8 +35 is almost flush, right. Man I thought I had the offset thing pretty down packed.

^^ no you still have the right idea.

18x8 +35 on a Scion TC would have the wheels sitting fairly flush with the body of the car.

What HKSpeed is saying that to achieve the concave look shown in the picture, the specs of the wheel would need to be "something like 18x9 et25".

I hope that made sense, I still grasping the whole offset thing as well.

But with a +25 offset wouldn't the wheels stick out on the tC? That's the part I'm not getting. I get the wheels needing to be wide part though. Thanx Control.

not exactly. with my spacers, my rims effectively become 18x7.5 and +33 offset in the front, and +28 offset in the rear. Both the front and rear are still slightly tucket in.

an 18x8 +35 will do this compared to my wheels/spacers-

front: 8mm less inner clearance, extend 4mm outwards
rear: 13mm less inner clearance, retract 1mm inwards

the front will be flush, but the rear will need a 5mm spacer to be completely flush.

they are gonna either be hella flush, or just stick out a little, but to achieve that concaved look, that is what is necessary.

if i were you.. i would go with a 18x8 with like a +20 offset, with 215 tires.

thats prolly gonna rub a little, just be careful how you drive.

now if i do the 18x8 with the +20 offset, and get coilovers i can find the right ride height that will allow me to run 225s w/o rubbing right?
