a little bit of column a and a little bit of column b. i wouldnt feel comfortable driving with these all the time. id probly put them on after a long day of detaling and then drive around to show them off lol. then take them off, and put them back on for shows i would probly take them off for rain too haha

just stick with 215 tires and youll be fine.

or you can just go with a 18x8 +45, with a massive 245/35 tire... looks and performance eh?

thats prolly gonna rub a little, just be careful how you drive.
So this combo would provide the concave look I've been dying for?

Anyone know where to get these in 18x8? I've been obsessing over these wheels for a while but have only seen them in 18x7.5 and 18x8.5. I'm a little concerned about rubbing with my drop (progress) if I were to go with the 18x8.5s. I am going for both looks and performance.

Try Weksos (check my sig for the link). They are authorized Work Wheel dealers and they have some pretty awesome prices. They can order custom wheels for you too.

Thanks Ro_Ja, I'll have to give em a call tomorrow.

Update: I guess they don't make them in 18x8 for whatever reason, so next step is to figure out what kinda offset to run to minimize the rubbing on my 1.8" drop.

I haven't been on SL in months...
but did anyone ever put the 18 x 8.5s on their TC ?

Here's a link from works to the specs they have available.
http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/w...Kai%20Spec.pdf

The website states that the semi-concave face is only for bolt pattern 5x114, not 5x100... I'm curious to know if what someone said earlier about a lower offset making the face cave in like boxer is true...

I know there's a table that's been stickied that handles 99% of the fitment questions, but I'm visually curious to see if someone stuck these on their TC...

18x8.5 with a 37 or 30 offset...

Agreed. My wheels were supposed to be here 22 days ago by the latest. Now they say they're shipping tomorrow. We'll see about that though.

Geebus that's a long wait.... so you guys all ordered custom offsets / lug configs to get the deep concave face?

So I'm looking at 6 months down the line to get a set of rims from work >.<

the good thing about waiting is that you can pay it off over time, instead of fronting the money all at once

^^Yeah. I had to pay half up front for my deposit. The other half I paid yesterday when I got the tracking number.
