They added to second light because alot of people made complaints according to my dealership..from i was told people made complaints to the dealership and the dealership actually installed second reverse lights on peoples cars because people were bringing the car back like saying they wanted to return it and buy another car

Yesterday – Saturday, 17 September 2011, there were about 500 Scion enthusiasts at the 7th Annual “Scion – Go Exposed” event at Kil-Kare Race Park in Xenia, OH. There was an RS 7.0 there the whole time…and not once did I see a person even take a glance at it. My car attracted more attention than the RS 7.0 did! There was an iQ there and there were always people around it. The RWD 2011 tC drift car was there that obviously attracted a bunch of attention. As far as the RS 7.0 goes, nada…I like the grill and I like the pushbutton start…but that’s about it.

^^ Riiiiiiiiiite

Anyways, here's 2 more pix I took real quick on my way into work this morning. Front plate mount, HID's and 20% tint. I'm still annoyed that we can't tint the tail lights on these cars.

Why ye be nay sayin'? Ye can tint yer tail lights. Found me a land lover who did the work for a fairrr price. Tinted the tails, third brake light and side mirror signals for slight more then the cost to raid a small village ($100)Name: Pirate.gif

They tried 4 times and the tint kept peeling back from that top ledge at the top of the tail light. Originally he said he could do it but would have to make a seam for the inner part of the light, like where the trunk meets the light. I said ok do one and I'll check it out. He comes back a half hour later and says we can't do it...it just keeps peeling back. They said this was the first tail lights they couldn't tint bc of the curves. I don't want to paint them, so I'm thinking vinyl? Where's a good place to get vinyl?

P.S. He also said he didn't want it to look "butchered".

Bluebatmobile makes tint for yer car, though many a man has tried and failed to do it hisself. In me opinion, paintin' be yer best choice. Ye can wet sand it later if ye decide dark tails ain't in ye future.

I would have taken my RS7 to Exposed but I found out about it too late

Although I am really looking forward to more events in Ohio! Once I can figure out the way to post image links that actually work I will post some of my RS....but the only mods I put on it are real simple....sport pedals and aluminum valve stem covers.... i like the subtle things! ;)

Default Front end discrepancy

I have had my TC since mid Aug. I am having a great time driving the car. The only issue I have is the front end. It seems that the right side panel has a larger gap tolerance than the left. The point is where two panels meet at the headlight. I went to my dealer today to address the issue and they were ready to switch the entire panel for me until they noticed the same discrepancy on the other RS7 they had in stock. Have any of you who have an RS7 have the same issue? Will try to post pics later. File size are too large on current pics.

I am having the same problem with the gap between the front bumper and right fender. Dealer said my tC (2011 regular, not RS7) is not the only one with the same problem. They got an email from the corporate addressing about the issue which requires some adjustment on the plastic clip that holds the bumper to the fender. Surprisingly, after I got home from the dealer, the gap gets worst to the point that it measures close to half an inch. I am going to bring it back to get it fixed AGAIN!

^^ I know what you guys are talking about but there's a lot of cars like that in general. My friend is a body shop owner and points stuff like that out on any car I get. I noticed it on 1st gen TC's as well.

Did you ask for it or did the dealer add it to make more money? Either way, it's included in your total. Post a pic

oh come on... im not that stupid!! im talking about the less wheel gap and the rs7 clearly sits lower than the other one ( look at the trunk and tails)

i just wasnt sure if all rs7 comes like that or not, because not even my brother knew about the springs! Btw lowered or not... .i thought that car was stock height and told him a dozen of times that he needs to lower that car! :D lol. so its far from being nice and low. Yeah. when i saw the other car in person i was like wtf going on with that godzilla wheel gap???????????????

Please share how you did the tails without making obvious seams
