iPhone test fits, I'll post up real photos soon

It's soft and flexible, don't have worry about scratching the paint. And the fittment is perfect, these photos are with no tape no screws nothing to prop it up. It hugs like a glove

So no one has posted on this thread in a while. The RS lip kit has been on backorder forever now and doesn't seem like it's ever coming out. There isn't very many options for our car. Would any 1st gen kits fit on the 2nd gen? Maybe the RS1 kit
I have been thinking about this - it might be possible to just paint our own body kit components. even if its carbon fiber i think. 1st is primer, then spray on your car's paint (they sell touch-up paint in spray bottle form that should be identical to factory paint) then finally, spray on clear coat and you're done.
Opinions?

to paint anything properly you have to prep (sanding/cleaning/etc), prime protective coat(s), paint color, clear coat.
to paint carbon fiber...your prep will have more work since you should sand down the epoxy as well

well the non-carbon fiber body parts already come in prepped and primed and ready for paint right?
the hardest ones to paint would be the carbon fiber parts. i don't even know how you would prep those. but once that's over the painting and clear coat should be simple.
I know a lot of people on here with body kits had it done at a shop, so i was just wondering if you could save any money by trying it out yourself? or will it all cost pretty much the same in the end?
