Question for those who got foglights installed from the dealer or factory what color is the fog light switch inside the car?

Thanks for the reply jtk2 but try to be helpful next time. I was the last to reply on that thread too and no where in there does it say what color the factory switch is

 

green bulb.. probably means its green. i dont see that green bulb being able to light up another color.. so heres another picture. sorry i didnt clarify it. but the green bulb lights up green, therefore the illuminating color of the switch is green. the color green like your eco light when it turns on.

 

Ok ok..... So I was under the impression that that thread was talking about the aftermarket oem kit that you can buy for like 149. And people were saying that that swith was green I got that much.. So my question is if the aftermarket kit is green is the factory scion kit green as well?

The switch inside the car doesn't light up green, it should be just the same amber as the rest of the car if it does light up at all... I'd have to check it after I have coffee and get my ___ out to look at the car.

...also if someone has the OEM and a pic of switch on the dash lighting up, post it. I really do need one more f@#$ing thing to have had that other dealership f@#$ up when they put in my fogs.

 

It lights up amber like everything else in the dash. Unfortunately, it doesn't light up to signify that the fogs are on, it only lights up when you turn on your headlights and the rest of the dash lights up...

 

THe OEM Switch color can be changed out (1st gen tc). I changed mine out to blue to go with the rest of the swap in my car. Sorry just noticed you have a 2011 tc. LOL! It looks like you can change it out.

 

Ok So JTk Guy didnt know what he was talking about The factory Switches are orange?

So Now TRD Sparks has two sets of fog lights listed for the 2011 scion tC... Any Ideas what the difference is between the two one the OEM kit and one an aftermarket OEM kit???
