I used plastidip. Most people here on SL use a matte vinyl wrap.

I'm a total noob with Vinyl wrap, but I think my plastidip came out pretty good.

Nope, I just washed the area really well. Then I pushed the grille in at the bottom, used some regular masking tape to mask the area with newspaper. I just forgot to remove the tape while the plasti dip was still wet. The edges are a little rough cause I had to use a box cutter to cut it when I removed the tape.

misterlu i was gonna plastidip mine as well but was worried about overspray through the grill. was gonna remove the bumper. so you just masked it and it worked well for you? it looks great from the picture. also, knowing that bugs will end up stuck on there, are you able to spray them off at the car wash? i dipped my wheels but i don't spray them because i'm worried about spraying the dip off... thanks and car looks killer man

Do one really thick coat from like 5 inches away and pull off the tape right away so it doesn't stick to the dip.

when I pushed the bottom of the Grille inward. I just masked it upward from there with newspaper so there wasn't any spray through on the grille. but if you're concerned about it. unbolt the splash guard underneath the bumper and stick cardboard up there and it'll protect the radiator from getting covered in plasti dip.

That last part. Spraying your wheels. Do you mean like a pressure washer? Fonzie used it on his wheels and they seem to be okay.

^^ I like the TRD. How'd you get your badge to stick to the grille like that?

Got it off Ebay. Just search Trd front grill emblem. It has two screws and two plates that hold into the grill. Cost like 8 bucks shipped. I figured after the exhaust, intake short shifter and all the braces, it was Trd enough to deserve the badge. Haha
