HELPPP
so today i was parked out at a store and while i was in my car some dumb stupid BXXXX goes on the passenger side and scratches my car with her keys trying to get in her car. oh and did i mention she also hit my car with her door. i know she did it on purpose for some reason and im like woaaaah hold up dont go anywhere! so as soon as i found a pen and paper she pulls out and leaves. lucky for me i still got her license plate number. now heres the question i dont have insurance yet since i got the car not too long ago, and well i wanna know how to go about the situation! should i call the cops? should i report it as a hit and run? also to mention where she hit the car with her door there was already a dent on it soo you cant freaking tell -____-. what should i do!??????

first thing you shouldn't have done is waited.... call your local law enforcement agency and do what they tell you to do, each state/city is different in their response...due to the fact that it sounds like she intentionally keyed your car that can be counted as vandalism keep that in mind...

since you do not have insurance, you will have to pursue the case yourself...
report it as vandalism (i would say malicious vandalism) and do a police report. then you'll have to call said person into court, using the license plate number as identification, and plea your case... also, do not mention the dent that was already there, if you are lucky, they'll pay for that too. do not wait any longer because the longer you wait, the less interested the law will be about the case.
if you had insurance, they would do all that tedious work themselves..
sorry to hear about your incident. my car has scratches on the passenger side door where a dog may have jumped onto my car while the owner "admired" my car.. (i think the owner was looking for something to steal because this was in a questionable neighborhood)
