The black and red plug into your head light harness (where the bulb was).
If you have a relay, it plugs into the relay harness instead (and the relay plugs into one headlight harness, the other is not used).

It's the Morimoto Elites.

I have a set of the e-bay lights in my xB and they are much better than the Halogen. It does have a bit of flicker in one bulb for about 10 seconds after startup, but steadies out after that.
I have another e-bay set in my other car for the past 3 years with almost constant use (they are 3000k fogs, use as DRL) and they are still running strong. Had another set (5000k) in the wifes old van in her fogs and they were fine also for about a year before we sold it.

I spent a total of ~$93 on 3 sets that all work fine, what am I missing with the $120+ kit?
You're missing the relay and IMHO, the quality of the worksmanship.

No. You can actually take it off. You will not be using them if you're using the relay. The blue and red wire plugs into your ballast and the relay socket plugs into your headlight (OEM)

You can pull it out or cut it. You will not be using them anyway. Just make sure you do a mock wiring first to check that all the sockets are compatible. .

Awesome, thanks. Went to finally install everything today and realized I think they sent me the wrong sized bulb. Isn't it supposed to just click in place like my stock lights do? These ones are a bit too small.

Verify your order if the bulb indicated are H11.
The diameter is small or it's loose? Did you remove the round rubber gromet?

Double checked, the box they sent is marked H11, and I'll attach a couple pictures of my bulb up close (taken carefully of course!). I took off the soft foam thing because that's just to secure the light case.

Were u able to twist and lock it in? Try pushing it more (carefully) in then twist. The rubber gromet is a bit thick.

The gromet is the circular thing a little down the wire correct? Does it just slide up to be flush with the bulb? I didn't know the rubber part was supposed to go in with the bulb too.

Sori I keep on saying gromet. What I mean is the round red rubber at the bulb housing. Its a bit thick. While installing the bulb, try pushing it in more, then twist to lock it in place. Jut like installing regular halogen bulbs.

Ok, I went back and tried again attempting to force it in further (carefully), and it's still just loose. The red rubber at the housing just goes into the open headlight space with ease. I can twist the HID in a full 360 degree motion without it even slightly seeming to lock into place.

I took some more pictures including the bulb closer up so you can see the notches built in and the red rubber and then a picture of the bulb hole taken from the inside (so it's a bit dark, but you can still tell).

Also, I took pictures of my relay wiring, can you let me know if it looks ok?

I guarantee that you aren't pushing hard enough. Those are definitely H11 bulbs that you pictured.

Your problem is that the red rubber o-ring is not seated properly. It needs to be pressed further down, and spread out more. The o-ring is positioned in a way that isn't allowing you to get the bulb all the way in.

How should I spread it out more? Just force it in further? And aren't the three notches built in supposed to fit into the notches on the housing?

Ok, I feel really dumb. I kept taking out the hi-beams and trying to fit the HID's in there. It wasn't until I just realized where the low beams were, and of course when I went to put the HID's in, they fit perfectly.

Sorry for the hassle guys, still a newbie when it comes to doing this stuff.

Where did you guys ground on the passenger side? I can't find anywhere that looks safe to ground it without having to take it apart.
