So bad question, I know already...
I love the look of these and wanted them for my 2012 Scion (yes I know they site says for 2010-11 only)
The wiring worked just fine and the lights look beautiful, but I am having a problem with fitment. The inside edge fits great, but there is about a 1cm gap on the outside edges that I cant get to sit flush with the body like the stock ones do. It seems there is a high edge somewhere but I cant figure out which part.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Do any who have installed these have some pictures of the body behind the taillight, to see if there was some change in the metalwork between 2011 and 2012?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a 2011 and I had the same problem. The glossy black with smoke lens had the same gap you describe on the left side only and when I washed my car water ended up getting behind it and when night came there was moisture in the lights and even water drops. I shipped them back and ordered the smoke ones with smoke lens and both sides fit evenly just like they should. When you get a pair of tail lights that do fit right do this. --> To further "proof" them I bought some silicone from Home Depot (UPC 7702700500) and siliconed the gap between the light fixture and the outer plastic lens. This gap runs around the whole light fixture. You will see what I'm talking about if you take another look. I siliconed the black felt that comes with the light fixture to the border it is supposed to be on as well. As you silicone the felt to the plastic border you will see 2 small "gaps." Fill that gap with silicone. Lastly, silicone all the silver screw heads that connects the light fixture to the outer plastic lens as well and re-silicone the parts that the manufacture already siliconed which is the shape of a few squares. Below is a picture showing what I siliconed.

DOPE
I love those i think they look great. Where did you get them installed? Was it a DIY? I was thinking about getting the black gloss ones for my 2012 tc magnetic grey. Think they would look good with plsatidipped rims? (black)

you just unscrew three screws on the old headlights, put new ones in, connect, and it works. i dont have a set myself, but from what i can see, it's a fairly simple install no longer than five minutes
