Default LED halos

does anyone have any experience with COB LED halo lights?

Like the ones here:
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...ducts_id=14906

http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...ghts-cob/1135/

are they any better than a standard CCFL halo and are they worth it? Thanks

Hey do you guys happen to know what size halos would fit on ours tcs? I think the low beams are somewhere around 90mm but I have no idea about the high beams.

well i know the 80mm would fit for the low beams but the 100mm would be tricky cuz if you look at your headlights it has two flat spots on the bottom and top of your high beams...but you might be able to fit it in somehow if you cut slits or if you get 90mm for the high beams you might be able to tuck it in there and glue it =)

My friend makes the custom kit if your interested bro...he did mine =) mine are multi-color

I've seen a lot of people put the LEDs behind a shroud to hide the ugly yellow color of the ring in the daytime. Is this possible on our cars and i thought that 90mm was supposed to fit best and that 80mm was too small. Is that measurement from the outside or inside of the ring? What size truly fits?

(Xtec Auto Accessories USA makes a high beam kit. A little overpriced for what it is but it fits)

well i used 80mm on mine and fits perfect on the outside, i just glued a lil of the back of the Halos to the chrome surface of the low beam...o and about the ugly yellow coloring, i painted mine black so you cant see it =) just cover up the LEDs with a lil piece of tape and spray them ;-)

yea i heard about there service =/ but if you guys are interested just PM me =) what do you mean different style though? you can check out my thread to see just how they fit

K0ntr0lledka0s: I was wondering if he had other kits with more Leds on them or more closely packed together? If not it's no biggy, unfortunately I got my wallet jacked a few days ago so I had to cancel my debit card but once my new one comes in I'll be PMing you for a set! Haha
