Default Powder Coating

Im sure this has been brought up in a thread, but I am new and only have one post to my name so far. I am looking to have my stock rims powder coated professionally just because i do not want them to peel back if i do it myself. How much am i looking at and could anyone recommend a shop in the indland empire/orange county area?

If i were to try and do it myself afterall, what am i looking at as far as steps and materials.

This place is pretty cool and i look forward to posting some pics when i get some mods going, but that depends on $$$ ...

if you were to DIY color your wheels, on average you'd need about $50 give or take depending the materials you may have already. list of supplies are as follows:

-1 to 2 cans primer
-about 4 cans of paint
-1 can clear coat
-progressively higher grit sandpaper (the higher the smoother the finish)
-1 can prep-spray (you can use the prep-wipes instead if you want)
-masking tape or index cards (to mask off the tire if you're not dismounting them off the wheels)

steps on painting:
i found this video helpful when painting a friends wheels

hope this helps and all goes well

Get it done at a shop with real powder coating. Runs about $75 a wheel or $300 for the set.
