^^^Yup exactly that. All thanks to Racing Solution hooking me up with the lip a year ago Great guys over there btw, cant wait for the side skirts and back bumper to be released. They will definately be added to my tC. I might even go the route of getting RS2 tC1 sides and rear caps just to speed the process along.

Sorry guys. The manufacturer we were using stole our money and didn't' finish the job. We're trying to work something else out in the mean time

So that's why it says backordered on your site. Was looking at it the other day.

Yah. We added it to the site so people could get email notification when it was ready. This should have been done months ago. The company caused almost $2000 in damage to our donor car and never completed the product. I'm sure some info with pictures will pop up soon by the owner of the donor car. Now we have to spend time to sue the manufacturer and pay to have our donor's car fixed.

I guess touch up paint won't hurt for now. Good luck in whomever you choose next. But please still make the RS2 lip and still use polyurethane as material.

I guess I should finally get around to this...
the forum has been kind of dead lately, and i've been busy with a number of other things on the side...plus this is not really something I enjoy writing about...

as most of u may know, i've been sponsored/tested a good amount of products for the tC2. each experience has been great, without any hitches. so no surprise here but the big secret is Racing Solutions has been using my car as the test car for this lip kit. I'm going to try to avoid a long ramble of all the problems in detail (and believe me there are A LOT), but one thing I want to make clear now...these problems are completely NOT Racing Solutions fault. In fact they have been very helpful to me to make sure my car and I are properly taken care of during this whole process. The real finger to point at the major delay in production, plus the added delay in fixing my car after the have damaged it to the point that makes you think "WTF where they doing for those 2 months??" is the manufacture that was hired/trusted to design the fiberglass mold to make the final production polyurethane kit.

I am holding myself back from naming names publicly because this is the internet and anything i write has the risk of biting me in the ___ down the line...by this "aerodynamic specialty body shop" also sells other body/lip kits and lighting accessories for a number of other cars...i've seen a few forums bash them for their poor customer service (that including liying and cheating the customer....kind of like what they did to Racing Solutions). If you are curious to the name of this company I suggest you avoid, feel free to PM me and I will let you know.

So here is roughly the disrespect they did to my car...and to think, the manufacturer never finally completely the kit for Racing Solution...

I know the lip will install there...but that is a hell of a deep scratch...probably went through half of a touch up paint bottle to make it look less noticeable. and trust me...Racing Solutions would not want to sell the costumer something that will damage the car that bad during installation

Remember my super cheap DIY front license plate? will i dont use it anymore because they returned the car to me WITHOUT my front license plate! I asked them about it right when I picked it up and all i got were I dont knows and empty promises of contacting me to either give it back once they found it or pay for a new one...i've tried to contact them three time and never got a reply yet...

the front grill doesn't lock in flush anymore...

doesn't look too bad from a far...

but up close that is one messed up scratches

really?? smh...

the top of the rear bumper and the spoiler too!? they werent even in that area for the lip kit

they promised me that they would wash my car inside and out before returning it to me...but they couldn't even properly remove the masking tape of the exhaust...oh and i doubt the car was washed when i got it back...

i think the side skirts might have gotten the worst of it...
other than scratches

it looks like they cut/trimmed some of it because none of the edges sit right. all have some gaps...

and they even lost ALL of the screws to correctly install them!

but that's not the worst part...

yup they gave it back to me with parts just sitting on the floor of the car! if u dont recognize these parts, they go behind the skirts and help hold the skirts to the rest of the chassis.

this one might be hard to see but this is after I washed it when I got home..

the middle is whiter than the rest...the sides look more grey...that's not shadow...that is some kind of overspray the covered the ENTIRE car. that area i cleaned...was only cleared AFTER washing the car using a CLAY BAR...

I know some of you that follow me through other mediums and have seen pictures of my car and it look alright...but i dont let people look at it closely. Through help from Racing Solution, I have been able to clean up the car as much as possible and cover up as much of the damage as possible. My car went through an 8 hour professional detail with clay bar just to get the overspray off. And they are also fronting the bill to get everything fixed/replaced/repainted properly, which they have already mentioned how much the estimator told me.

I'm just glad i got my wheels and other mods AFTER this whole thing.

Oh and the damage from poor care done to my car is only the small of the problems....the rumor is that "manufacturer" did complete the designs. 3 in fact....3 FAKE/REPLICA kits that they are trying to sell to other companies! so not only are they the cause for this delay, but they are also hurting companies sales (which will lead to companies being less interested in making more products because they cant compete with the cheaper fakes). and if how they treated my car or the comments about them from other forums are any indicators of their quality in their products or in themselves...it is clear that they will do whatever it takes to take ur money and leave you SOL....

to Racing Solution, I thank you and appreciate all you are doing to make this possible. I am just as sorry and angered as you for what happened, but hopefully this "manufacturer" and others like them will get theirs and finally stop ruining things. I look forward to continuing on this project and hope things will go smoother the next around.

The company we contracted with to make this kit was Baus Auto in El Monte, Ca. JR is the person we dealt with and he is no longer returning out phone calls or text messages. He has refused to reimburse KidJustin for any damage and refuses to pay us back. We are in the process of suing him in small claims.
