Default Running Lights?

Any manufacturers of a set of headlights with running lights included? Any way to mod the factory lights to include these? I'm pretty new to car modding - please break it down to pretty simple terms. Or a plain old link will work.

Thanks.

EDIT: I was hoping to get something like Audi lights where the daytime/running LEDs are located in the headlight lamp. Sorry, should've clarified that earlier.

You can cut the wires of your high beans and run new wires to anything that has has a hot lead when the car is running, like your cigarrette lighter. After that you can add a logic gate switch between your regular headlights and the highbeams, so when you turn the headlights on, the high beams shut off... Its much more complicated than just that, but that is the basic idea to get DRL's in a US model tC....

No manufacterer makes any different headlights than the OEM ones... at least not yet...

Dude, that looks pretty simple. Thanks!

Seems like you're one of the resident gurus around here. I just bought a set of ambient led lights to light up the driver and passenger floorboards. I was thinking of wiring these to the interior fuse box and making them turn on when the parking lights are on. I bought the kit from ledglow and it just came with the led strips wired to a controller. What all would I need to connect the wires to the fuse box?

I'd post a pic of the actual product that I have, but it's not on hand right now.

From the control box, there are 2 wires not pictured running from the "north" end. 1 wire is red (positive) and 1 wire is black (negative). The manual says to ground the negative, which is easy stuff. I just need to know how to connect the red wire to the fuse box.

Thanks a lot for your help.
