Default Spec D Headlights tC 2013 - I need Help!

Hey guys, my name is Kevin and I have a problem with my headlights. Yesterday, the cap on the back of the driver side assembly got loose and water got in somehow.
The actual headlight light stopped working because water got on the wiring.
The only thing is the cap on the back of the headlights could possibly restrict some kinds of LEDs.

Do you think air drying it with a hair dryer or any kind of dryer would revive it?
If that doesn't work, I was wondering if getting LEDs for the headlights would be better because the color of them now sucks anyways.

I need your help guys!! Please and thank you!

Welcome, Kevin. Yes, a hair dryer should help dry out the plastic housing. Try to aim the heat at the water so the plastic's as cool as possible. Acrylic might be susceptible to shattering.

Some people use silicone adhesive to seal the leak(s). Others drill a hole in the lowest point of the housing so that water drains instead of pools. YouTube probably has several videos for each option.

Your leak may have blown the mini fuse. If not, it might be a good idea to pull the fuse before water damages the circuit. You can pop it back in as soon as the housing's dry.

As for LEDs, I'm still on the OEM bulbs so I can't offer an informed opinion. Good luck with the leak and selecting your headlights.
