tC2 Tow Hook
I was thinking about ordering a set of tow hooks....
but im not sure if by installing the front tow hook I will have to cut my bumper in order to get to the frame....

i've got nothing against tow hooks, but i find them tacky.. no offense, i understand that it makes the car look like a race car, but it is still tacky to me. with the right angle and color scheme, i have had moments where i look at a tow hook on a car and say to myself, "damn that looks good," but it is rare.. in the end, do what you want for your car. the front hook is VERY simple, just pop the square off and screw it in and call it a day. there is even a license plate re-locater that uses the tow hook mount, which i also don't like... have fun with YOUR car man.

Does anyone know where they sell the fold down type tow hook that fits the tC2? I know ours comes with an OEM one in the trunk but kinda wanted get the fold down ones just to mess around with.

INB4: yes i know they're considered a rice mod, most likely not functional, and no i don't plan on tracking my car at all. just wanted it just to have one

Tow hooks being called a "Rice Mod" or not. If you like the tow hooks, and you want a tow hook, get one !! It doesn't matter what anyone else says or thinks about them !! It's YOUR car and you can do whatever the hell YOU want to it. If you like the way they look, then you will love your car even more, and that's all that matters. Personally, I like the way a front one looks and I'm getting one for my 2013 tC. I'd like one that will actually work but I can only find a single red round hook in another countries Amazon, but it's only decorative. I might buy it, or maybe I'll paint the one that came stock with my spare tire a nice shiny black, and use that one on my beautiful white tC. Either way, it's my car and I can do whatever I want to it. All that matters is if I think it looks good on my car.
