i have a 2014 automatic Scion tC and was wondering how much the power the stock torque converter could hold. i plan on installing a turbo kit in the near future and will bump up the power to about 290ish.
also, where would i be able to find one if i need to swap it (website wise).

You'll be fine at 290ish whp. We have a couple members, scionchicop most notably, that went forced induction with autos and had good experiences.
