2010 Scion tC Rev while giving gas..
Hey,
First time writing a post. I have 2010 Scion TC Car has no leaks at all, Tranny fluid changed every 10k miles and oil change every 3k miles. I have a problem with revving. Whenever I come to complete stop on a stop sign,
and instantly after stopping giving gas (normal acceleration ) my car is revving a for a second (from 100 to 300 rpm plus) after that is going to normal rpm operation. Car is moving while there's a slight rev up. Gears are shifting awesome,
Transmission filter change 20k miles ago. This problem is happening in the past 30k miles. I'm a second owner car have almost 80k miles on the clock.
The same problem is happening when i try to make a turn to left or right when i need to break from 45mph to 15mph when i complete the turn i have that revving again and after that it smooth out.
All these problems are happening in Florida, and engine and tranny are in normal temperature operation. No check engine light on.
Thanks.

Like I tell everyone else when they have weird rpm issues, start by giving your MAF sensor and throttle body a good cleaning. Use MAF cleaner for the sensor and carb cleaner and elbow grease for the throttle body - ti could be sticking.
Aside from that, it doesn't sound like too serious of an issue.
