got a 2013 tc rs..trying to figure out the air intake

wanna buy the actual intake but not sure if im gunna do it right now so was wondering about the filter its self..it is in the stock box, what if I swap out for a K&N filter in the box? would that have any actual positive effect or should I just go full intake

 

If you plan on going CAI then save your bucks and stay stock in the meantime. A K&N or TRD filter would hardly give any gain performance wise. The sole advantage of getting those is to save $ on future filter changes since it's permanent.

Go with the descendant intake if you can manage to find one
