The plastics inside this car are so sensitive that its bound to get scratched. I learned the hard way with my bookbag. We'll see tmmw.

looks can be deceiving....
i've had a number of what looked like scratches...but they were just deep scuff marks. nothing water, microfiber cloth, and some elbow grease didn't get out

@Speterson82: They haven't advertised it much, but they have it for sale. Really well built as well. Follows the OEM routing, with an exhaust tip that looks a lot like the Descendant one. They're also developing a larger, can-type exhaust that follows the route most of the cat-back exhausts go, but I'm not sure when that'll be ready. Given how slowly they're moving on some other parts they said would be done in less than a month (2+ months ago), it may be a while.

The piping is so puny. lol. And idk how you got that thing in there. I had someone pick it up for me.

But back to the topic, the Descendant has a mean growl. I expected it to be quieter, but I guess its what you get with an aftermarket catback. Also sticks out further than the stock did.

do you gotta call them for it? I didn't find anything on their website for tc2, but I'd be interested in the exhaust you're describing....not so much the can style. That's what I love about the ARK and Descendant. I know Agency puts out good product....you wouldn't happen to know the price on it?

I'll have to email them and find out.

I can't find it on their site either, but I KNOW it exists. I've seen and held it. Would have bought it except I already had Descendant's.

Maybe if someone picks up their exhaust they'll be more motivated to finish up some other stuff for the tC!

MightyP,

Last time I checked, the header was part of the exhaust…there is no mention of headers here. I know there are at least two companies making headers. Why don’t you consider adding headers to your thread?

Thanks, 2tC and I agree the header is a very important part of the exhaust. I didn't add it because, well, it's not my thread really and I was trying to stick with answering the OP's original question. We can certainly to a good "tC Exhaust" Thread with all that info if "people" would like.

Pardon me, anyone with the TRD Axle Back? Does it sound as good as it does for the TC1?
How much did you pay for it. TRD Sparks has always been reasonable, but now they want $550 just for the axle back. Is this acceptable? I plan on doing only bolt ons.

I have the TRD and it's amazing. The exhaust note is so refined and the volume is perfect...especially for a daily driver.

I owned the Tsudo for a few months before switching to the TRD. It was way too loud and resonated terribly inside the cabin at certain RPMs. The TRD keeps the exhaust noise to the rear of the car and sounds awesome when your windows are rolled down. I'll NEVER trade it in for another exhaust for this car and I'll always recommend it above all others.

I lucked up and found a great deal on a slightly used one.

Thanks for the great post, I love my TRD on my TC1. I'm not sure what luck I'll have with finding a used one. But I hope the $550 price tag is competitively priced. Next time the sales rep for my 2013 tC calls i'll get the dealer price.
