I actually asked Kareem to give me the descendant logo in a file so I could cut my own stickers in whatever color I want. I added that one just to identify the intake, Still trying to figure out where to put the gold Descendant vinyl I cut...

to id the intake...now thats is what i really want...
so did they paint that on or is it a sticker?

just wondering....how safe is it to put a sticker on intake? with the heat in the engine and everything. does it has to be a special sticker of a certain material?

KJ, I dont want to sound like a jerk, but you quoted me then asked a question that was answered in the quote...

as for the question of whether or not it will hold up to the engine heat, I have the DT9 Stickers on the engine cover itself, which gets about 10 times hotter than the cold air intake. The material its made from is vinyl.

oh that is completely my fault i read it wrong. i thought u meant that u asked for the file to cut the sticker and they just went ahead put the logo on there already and now u are figuring out where to put the gold sticker you cut (not thinking that the black logo on there already is also a sticker you cut in another color). my apologize for interpreting it wrong and thanks for answering my questions

Got my intake about 6:15pm and got it installed tonight. I must have tried to put the filter on in the wrong order or something, but it was a PITA. I'll take my car for a spin tomorrow and get better pictures when it's light, but here's a teaser.

I saw, but was looking for photos from the engine bay down, just seeing how close it sits to the 'wet' areas.

MightyP was it easy to install? Anything I should look out for besides battery part?

Descendant really needs to start putting their names on their product...

Unfortunately no chance... there are legal implications to selling another company's logo...

Installed mine sounds and feels great! Was a pain to put on. I actually took out the battery and tried but I ended up routing the pipe from the bottom. Blah. Only complaint I have is the paint comes off super easy!! thought it would be tougher since it was supposed to be baked on.gotta buy some touch up paint now. Overall I love it. Pics Tomorrow

Mine won't be here until next tuesday... I hate living across the country. Longer ship times suck.
