No problem im also going to purchase these items to help stop hydrolocking:
-Injen Technology Polished Aluminum Air Filter Heat Shield/Splash Guard
-AEM Air Intake Bypass Valve (Use w/3.0" Intake Tubing)
I also believe descendant has a bypass system i think if so ill purchase theirs.

The size of the air filter is 5"w at the top and 6"tall and 6" at the base. K&N has all the size you need.

Can't you just wrap some kind of insulation around it?
That's what this one looks like...

ok so i didn't scroll down...to see the other types
apparently there is a section for tapered filters and not just straight ones...
but...there is no tapered filter that is 6 base x6 height x5 top...so what should we use?
and what is the difference between DryCharger and PreCharger?

According to the descriptions at the top of the page, it looks like the PreCharger is only designed to be run dry and is not water repellent. The DryCharger is water repellent and needs to be changed every 1 to 2 years to remain effective at repelling water.
