exhaust question
Hey, i have the hks axle-back and i am now looking for a full cat-back system since i know have the headers in my car. Now my question is should i get a cat-back system that is made specifically for my car or use the hks axle-back and custom build the pipes to the headers so i can make sure everything is the right size to reduce back-pressure. I wanted to sell my axle-back for 280 but now im debating

You don't want to reduce back-pressure by much because you will lose low-end torque that way.
Just ditch the HKS and go Descendant/Tsudo... My Tsudo bolted on perfectly and from what I hear, the Descendant is the same way.

Its true I have the Descendant straight bolt on no fuss no hassle all gaskets and hardware included.

yea i guess imma sell it really quick just to get it out of the way, and then ill go with a cat back...im thinking descendant or greddy..i have the money right now to get either but i wanna sell the hks first
#6
do u think i will gain anything from doing the switch..or should i wait and just spend the money on suspension and rims now...i have about 600 i can play around with it...no turbos i want strictly n/a

If you are looking strictly N/A, I'd stay away from the Greddy. It's got a larger pipe diameter, which would be great for turbo applications...not so much for N/A. Also, it's mad expensive.
Honestly, It's hard to tell regarding gains. Since you would be running a complete exhaust from header back, you will probably see better gains than me with just the cat-back. The only way you'll REALLY get good gains from any bolt-ons would be to get the AEM FIC and dyno tune that bad boy.
It's your call, but for the $600, you'll definitely notice more noticeable results if you grab some springs and a strut bar.

well i have friend selling an aem fic for 160 bucks so im thinking about getting that really quick, and i was thinking that since i have an axle and headers and intake, i might as well start with the springs and strut bar and also motor mount...thanx for the advice

yea i know how u feel..i want to dyno my car but everyshop i call tells me they only do motorcycles..but imma just buy just in case i want to put it on in the future! imma hold off the cat-back

Just something to keep in mind. The most highly recommended tuner shop in my area (small area, so take it for what it's worth) suggested not doing a tune if all I had was bolt on mods because it wasn't worth the money. Basically said it'd run about $1K with the FIC and tune and I'd only get another 10-15 hp. Just something to keep in mind.
If you can get the $800 AEM FIC for $160 however...
