I'd say remove the valve cover and check for disaster. If it's the same issue as me, your lifters will be out of place.

I'm worried they won't look or bother with the little caps. Also too now there saying there was a history code when I had it in last time saying misfire. After talking me there wasn't a code. There still being silly about it. I don't trust them at all with it. In the finished sheet I'll get hopefully states the missing caps. Also I'm carless. They don't have a curdesy car for me. Nor can rent one out till they dioignoised the issue.

Grammar is a virtue. Good luck with everything.

so you over revved and now you're trying to get the damaged you caused to the head fixed under warranty? seems legit.

Haha, yea best thing to do is stop posting about it and pray they cover it. Not really a warranty issue and I wouldn't keep putting it out there for a dealer or someone from toyota to see. Probably best to delete the thread

Moderator, delete this thread please!
since the car will most likely be in a shop for weeks with inexperienced underpaid mechanics fixing this issue myself or someone I trust will be in best interest! Ill find out Monday what the deal is. And the fact I have no wheels now.

Should have fixed it myself right off the bat. Out 80$ and the tow bill. They said the damage happened after they looked at the car that Thursday lol. Also without reason said its not manufacture defect. Either way i m out bunch of money because I went to Toyota lol. Oh well. Ordered those valve stem caps for tkorrow if I can't find all of them in the motor.

Whatever the car isn't covered by warrenty. just a waste of time, BUT they still say from when it left there shop from the first check the damage happened AFTER.

They said the car wouldn't run with it as it sits. this is coming from MR know it all.
So we got to Toyota, pushed it out while they watched, 10 minutes later put it back together as it sat and drove off with a bit of tire spinning from my dads van and the tC
Just the fact they cost me 74 saying the car ran and I broke the car after... just boggles my mind. So I will take further legal actions. meantime those valve caps things will be there tomorrow morning so tomorrow after work have it all fixed up. shouldn't be a issue pushing those rockers back in....

Now to think about upgraded valve springs and cams!

Just legal actions. When I get back, I get back legally and even if I don't get anything out of it, I know I can have piece of mind and feature customers and other people that had the same issue can all relate.

I don't see how this can go legally considering the fact that the issue you're having is not a manufacturer defect, it is user error. I can assure you that Toyota has a lot better lawyers than you do that are well prepared for cases such as these.

The furthest you'll get with ____ service is corporate saying they will take care of it. I had issues with poor customer service and had opened a claim with corporate. In the end the dealer still exists, not sure on the service rep though.

True that. Like not a huge issue to warranty it really. How much would it cost? But that's beside he fact now. They couldn't even help me push the car out of the shop. Just snickered at me. And him saying the car broke after and or I must have pulled the rockers out on my own because the car wouldn't run. Its running now as it did Thursday. No codes. Sounds like a Subaru. Just crappy since day one. :p
