So car is running great again... Put all the rockers in. Put it alllll back together. Started it and holy crap a ping and rough running lol. Took it all back apart and the first rocker we did must have not be set in place good it pushed out and jammed. Popped it back into place and it purrs.

 

You lucky bastard. The other guy just put his rockers in and it started working too. Perhaps they blow out easy to avoid bent valves. Good for you.

But please be careful with your car. Make sure you arms are the perfect distance from the Steering Wheel and Shifter. Count your blessings bro.
And props for cracking open the valve cover and getting to work. However, I would like to have seen what the rockers and junk looked like exposed.
